The Süßholz clogs are designed and crafted in a custom workshop in the colorful neighborhood of Kreuzberg, Berlin.
The wooden soles are manufactured in Thuringia. They consist of either alder or poplar wood. Both woods have distinct features and advantages, which are carefully chosen to fit the shoe model.
The leather is sourced from tanneries with high standards and quality. We use calf and cow leather for our clogs.
Christine Schöpf, who has been making shoes for over 20 years, begins with attaching the rubber outsoles to the wooden soles. She then precisely cuts and sews the leather straps to fit and carefully assembles the shoe. Using only the best materials assures the longevity of our clogs.
